What are the odds of winning?

Since RushHunt competition based on skill, it is impossible to calculate the odds of winning. It isn't like the lottery where one out of every trillion win, but if you are more tech savvy than others you will probably bring home more prizes.

Will I have to pay anything, or give my credit card?

We won't make you buy anything, but there is a slight chance you might be asked to pay for shipping and handling if you live in some remote region of the world, such as Antarctica.

How is RushHunt different from any other 'Win a free [insert cool prize]' website?

To get your prize on other websites, you must either buy a bunch of products you do not need, or fill out long surveys, not to mention getting spam for life. But with RushHunt there is no need to spend any money, or fill out any surveys. Also, we take pride that we don't sell your email address. RushHunt is not based on do 'x' and you will win, it is a competition. You are competing against every other person for the grand prize, making it the first website of its kind.

What are Hunt Tokens?

Hunt Tokens allow for RushHunt to reward players with extra in-game perks including hints on certain questions.

Will I get spam?

If there is one thing we don't like here at RushHunt, it's Spam. You will never receive spam from this or any website related to RushHunt. Also, we won't distribute, sell, or rent any of our users' information.

When does RushHunt start?

In an effort to keep RushHunt fair, every hunt will start at 7pm PST. If seven o'clock has already passed that day, then it will start the next day.

How does this site make money?

You see, RushHunt doesn't pay for any prizes: we steal them. Just kidding, actually every hunt has a group of sponsors, which help pay for the prizes. In addition, banner advertisements help support the site.

How would I receive a prize?

When you win a RushHunt, it is important for us to give you your prize to you; since we don't ask for your address until we need it, we have found it is easiest to use email to communicate.

Why am I seeing 'X amount of people are needed to start'?

In cooperation with our sponsors, we need to keep track of how many people are competing in each hunt, once the limit reaches zero the competition will begin at 7pm PST.

What is My 'Unique URL'?

Upon registering for the site, you are automatically given a URL, unique to each player account. This URL allows you to refer your friends, and if they sign up through this URL you get rewarded with Hunt Tokens!
